Oya, the god of darkness and night had a disagreement with Arya, the god of creation over territory and control but Brabus, the god of destruction came defending Arya the god of creation and fight tooth and nail to help keep the territory which belonged to Oya originally but Oya was drunk one night and moved by Arya's seduction which got him to give out that part of his possession. Brabus and Arya lost the territory to Oya with his alliance to Osun and Orisha, they fought relentlessly to keep the territory. After a while Orisha, the god of wisdom asked for his share in the kingdom as payment for what he helped secure but this started another war between the gods.
