The moment you read a group of 8-year-old kids running an underground organization inside a wizard school with house goblins and an 8-or-9-year-old girl poisoning her boyfriend, who was also 8 or 9 and had probably fcked with, because of a gambling debt, you know you can't take this novel seriously anymore. Be it the characters, the story or the world, they are... colorful, but they are only at that, nothing more, nothing less. The author made it too convenient for the main character. "Sh*t, I'm a serious danger here which can cost me my life. What, I leveled up and conveniently acquired this ultra awesome skill which can conveniently save my life and was forgotten by me? Great!" World background is also nonsensical. Have you seen any gods schemed to kill a mortal before? Have you?! And wow, this novel really knows no boundary of child abusal. Rape, beating, killing,... it has them all. And the main character has also taken part in the beating, and killing part. Well, the fact that he is only 14 makes you "meh". You know what is wrong about this novel except redundant child abusal cases? There are no kids! Wow! Isn't that great?! Not!! For the love of Talos, it's annoying to see every kids act like a college student or ***** and sometimes the adults act like kids!

I have seen a lot of gods scheming to kill a mortal before, especially if that mortal is fairly strong and troublesome. Japanese gods, for example, are usually not that strong. Same goes for many other countries "gods". Being a god doesn't necessarily mean you're omnipotent, even if it's the most popular version. Now, I don't know whether or not this particular god you're talking about is the omnipotent and ridiculously powerful kind, if so, I guess it's kinda ridiculous to plot against the mc?
Well yea.. the 14 y.o MC and his (i guess) 60 years old Wizard-girlfriend. Well allways i see **** like a 6 years old girl as Assassin. Or a 9 y.o wizard who had some funny nights with his girlfriend i imagine that they are all 5 years older than the author said and anything is fine. Mc:14+5=19 His brother the talented young wizard:9+5=14 The assasin girl: 6+5=11 And finally everything looks a lot better :D
