This story is not good. First, I have the day the male lead is absolutely in no way good enough for the female lead. He is emotionally and physically abusive of her, blames her for his twisted fantasies of her betrayal, and refuses to use his resources available to search for the truth of matters. The female lead is better, in that she seems to be a genuine person who sincerely does love the man, but she needs to learn how to talk. Countless times in the story, various assumptions of the other characters are thrown at her and a few sentences from her could clear everything up, but she just takes their unfounded diatribes in silence, perpetuating the misunderstanding. The male lead also loves to throw a temper tantrum and run away, worrying that she doesn't love him when he flees from her presence constantly, pushes her away, never communicates anything, and just broods in his own rampant paranoia. Moreover, the story is too drawn out for no purpose. At one point, frustrated with the leads' inability to communicate whatsoever, I skipped ahead 500 chapters to see if they get better. And they do-- slightly. And only the female lead. She gets fed up with the male leads **** and literally refuses to let go of him until he lets her speak more than two words to him. That was cathartic, but to my mounting horror, I realized that the moment I had skipped to was the first moment of their characters progression in the story, and I was not lost at all in the storyline. In other words, I skipped 500 chapters and missed absolutely nothing. In summary, the story is too long and nothing happens, the female lead is too pathetic, the male lead is despicable, and the story is bad. If you want a story with a similar premise, but characters who are instead three dimensional, respectable, and grow, where the story actually progresses over time instead of stagnating, go read 'Hidden Marriage.' Its very good.

Thank you for pointing out all the things I've noticed about this story. This review needs to be higher, really. I quit reading when the side story for Jiamu and Song came in because I wanted it to be OVER. Simply put, I really think they just spun the story to be longer and longer because they make money out of it or something. I've felt that they even come up with situations to strengthen the longing between the 2 leads but just looked like it was froced into the plot.
