Both main character are stupid and double dumb. The woman still accept the man after the psychology and physically tortured. He even raped you!!! And the man..... you call your aggressiveness towards woman as love? I found this writer can't interpret what loves really mean. This novel not worthy for reading. Such a waste on time, money and spirit stone. Really disappointed with the writer for damaging the true loves mean....

i couldn't get past chap 45 for the same reason. LJ wasn't arrested for assault by that point, so i lost interest. add the tag Abuse or abusive relationship, maybe eventually itll show up on the description

yeah, i was honestly reading all the reviews and lost a lot of hope (for humanity). apparently a lot of people find that kind of behavior "cute" or "sweet", which i find both sad and disgusting

It would hace been fine if the male lead have some issues but laying a hand like he does in the novel is really hard to swallow. Its like rapde due to misunderstanding. Oh wait that still sounds horrible.

yeah, exactly. hes a scumbag, shes blind/stupid for staying with him. if you can't control your own emotions enough to stop from physically hurting people near you, then you need to: 1. Get Help (Anger management help) 2. Not be near people (esp while angry) 3. Grow up (the common adjective for people who are like this is "childish") The author is saying "its ok if your husband beats and belittles you, he probably loves you but is having a hard time with x. If you really love him you'll stick it out." which is wrong on so many levels.

My point exactly. I even read some reviews saying if only LJ is real in her life she would be so happy. MY world... I almost fainted. Its just the author gathered a great fanbase already and they only treat those negative bhaviors as exciting.

Agreed. Actually i'm really dissappointed with the author who want to educate reader that this kind of aggressiveness is allowed in submitting love. Those ***** reader can misinterpret and fall into a wrong guy...

I'm worried for those young generation to make wrong decision. When they meet one with LJ attitude, they stay with the person in the name of love hoping that the abusiveness will disappear thru time. But in reality it is hell forever...

I also agree with you guys. But it seems like this kind of thing is repetitive through out any Chinese novell. Girl falls in love with a jerk who treats her like a emotional punchingbag but the girl still continues to wanna be with the guy. This is really scary, is one thing to fall in love with a jerk but to glorify a abuser and yet claim it is love. I wonder is the author blind and doesn't know what love is.
Right its like that in another novel by the same author maybe she was abused like that and is writing from what her perspective of love is.... if she is then she needs help

Yeah, the sad thing is the readers here who are mentally ill. Thinking garbage of ml are hot,ä. I am starting to think that they are the same kind of women who write to serial killers in jail to confess their love. Sick people

I believe content creators like authors have a responsibility in not sending bad messages to readers, especially impressionable ones. This book gives the horrible message that its OK if he beatvyou and raped you, as long as he loves you deep down. A man who truly loves you would never beat you or rape you. There is no excuse for abuse or rape.
