Really don’t understand how this could have become 3rd on weekly ranking - really poorly written, some of the most gaping plot holes I have witnessed not to mention the thick layers of plot armour. Many of the situations seem to have been made up on a whim of the author and going from 0 to 100 as he seems to get bored of sticking to one subject. They do say copying is the best form of flattery but some of this is just down right plagiarism from various stories - he randomly started throwing in hunter x hunter terms etc. for a couple of chapters then seems to totally forget about it. Overall, largely disappointing.

Qrow:I'm honestly starting to believe that either A) People here has the worst taste in novels ever or B) The author hired an internet army to upvote his story because it's the only way I can see it reach the top lists. I'm hoping for B but I fear it might be A.

I disagree with you. Its not a plot armor its a plot gadget. Secondly. There have been greater gadgest possible.. as mentioned in the story. Also: The protagonist doesnt really stick around, since everyone know - its bets to train your strenght early and everyone is just doing that. Casual Encounters happen for a reason. I prefer stories with more thoughtfull encounters. But as the story is pretty consistent in that way - and the protagonist acts that way as well, i disagree on this point as supposedly shallow. Its highly creative and i love it. Yes i defend a bit. But this is anything else less then though through.
