I have no issue at all with the translator or update speed. The author however just doesn't write a good story. He completely forgets about the main character's thirteen year old sister, and the character development is all over the place. Random events like the retarded snow white and the yeti is retarded. The world building is just bad. 90% of the time, I have no idea what the area the main character is looks like, nor the cities, nor the countries or the world. It's all grey fog. It's just all around ****ty.

He levels way too fast I mean, couldn't there be at least some 2-3 Months time skips of training before leveling up like the Hunter Arena "Arc"? This would slow down his cultivation by at least a little bit and not make him lvl like there is no tomorrow It is ridiculous how he just gets away with being at GOLD-LEVEL 2 after under a Year and not get caught and asked by the government and trained of course

To Devil who has only read to chapter 42, You are wrong in almost completely wrong: 1) The main character's sister is a consistent character in the novel later and the only reason she may seem to be forgotten is due to the MC adventuring out for some time. Obviously at that part in the story where you are currently at, the author would not keep talking about the sister but rather focus on the MC and all the action he is going through. It wold be just stupid to mention the MC's sister doing random stuff at home in the middle of the MC fighting against a monster horde. Again, we see more of the MC's sister later in the story, similar to how in True Martial World, the MC's sister also was neglected but played an important role later in the story. 2) Events like meeting the protoss and the yeti are not completely random as they also reappear later in the story....I know because I have read the raws. 3) World building is pretty good as you can get a good idea of the setting usually at the beginning of the chapter when the MC arrives in that area or when he is exploring certain parts of world. Unless you are someone who skims over the chapters and only reads the fights or have no imagination, you should be able to at least have some idea of the world and its cities. Overall, Monster Paradise is a very good story with a well-paced plot that keeps you wanting more and has pretty good world building and character design. It's just an awesome novel so please don't downgrade it when you haven't even read 20% of the story.

Oh, dear me I must be wrong then. I wonder when this all comes about then? Maybe by chapter 100? 200? 300? 400? 500? 1000? Whatever the case, the first impression is critical to stories and my first impression is what you read above.

I went backpacking in Peru a while back, and in one of the rural towns, they had an inflatable world globe, but didn’t know which continent Peru was on, let alone the position in South America. Their world is their town and it’s direct surroundings. My point is, it is not unusual for a person from a small town (like the MC) to not know all that much about the wide world around him, because it’s simply too big and there’s not much point in knowing that information, let alone relating it.

lol characters that mysteriously vanish and reappear as if they're shelved books speak volumes about the author. At least develop them at the same pace as the MC.

... I'm not good with the acronyms! Even if it's for a title I'm quite familiar with; if I haven't seen the acronym before, then it's unlikely that I'll understand which title it's referring to, even if it's one of the most famous &/OR most poplar titles; as we saw in this shining example of RTW. So yeah, one again, thanks for your help. And I apologise for my long-windedness. GuyB x

It’s not horrible but my issue is how much the translator completed and how much is available w/o paying hundreds of spirit stones. This novel is more to kill time than a decent novel.
