Review Detail of Ananya in Tales of Herding Gods

First chapter synopsis according to my interpretation from MTL- MC as a baby is found by the head of a village which is surrounded by darkness with nothing but a jade pendant, he is raised by the villagers despite some initial reluctance from some of them. The villagers are all dangerous characters I suppose because a new mother whose fate was to be killed was instead turned into a cow in order to feed the MC by the village head. Eventually MC as a ***** boy learns the true form of his 'cow' and is fascinated with the skills of the villagers.....so the story continues in this fashion.
