My English might not be the best but bear with me and read this, its a bit long. I started reading this and the story was great! But you see, there were two things I was unsatisfied with. First of all, I don't feel "close" or "connected" with the mc, quite frankly, I do not like her character development nor the husband. Idk, maybe because I'm male. I feel like I didn't get enough time to know more about mc and the whole thing was like BOOM in your face plot and characters. I felt there was more potential for the character and for us to know about. And secondly, if you are a guy like me who isn't used to this kind of book which is targeted at mainly female audience, you would have a hard time reading through the "intimate" scene. I don't know, it's different from regular "intimate" scene from other books, it just feels awkward for me. I have lost count of how many times their kiss scene was described in there. By all means, these are not negative and i'm not bashing. It just didn't fit with me so I'm sharing with others who might be the same as me. Thank you for reading this. I needed to let it out.

I actually have a website where I review different books and online stories. I wrote a review about this one on here instead of there though. I was astonished with how many people are actually praising this novel. I'm a bit more unforgiving to bad writing, so my review was a lot more vicious than yours. But in short, I completely agree. I think one of the reasons you had problems with the "intimate scenes" was that the author clearly didn't know how to write them. They all come off as similar because the language used to describe it is similar...Experienced authors know that if they are going to describe an intimate encounter, they have to make sure it is completely different from the other encounters the characters have already had. To be honest, I accidentally wrote two reviews for this novel because I disliked it so much...but I realized what I had done and deleted the second one which was way worse than the first haha
Definitely! Im a forgiving person so I toned it down. You know good novel isn't easily written, and I value characters and character development the most because they are very important to the story.

I've read a lot of online novels and reviewed a small portion of them. I've become less and less forgiving toward bad ones after reading a few really good ones. I just want to show the good ones to the authors of the bad ones and be like, "See?! This is how you do this!"

Definelty agree...Iâve read so many novels Iâve lost count and some has intimate scenes and this novel doesnât seem to be experience in writing it. The author tend to repeat quite a lot For instance, the same plot such as defame, face slap, enemy falls/humiliation, husband low key helps. I havenât read too far like chapter 250+ so maybe Iâm missing out? But I canât stand the same plot and it makes me feel uneasy with all the defaming stuff. Like face slapping is satisfying but itâs a bit overused in this case. Itâs a model entertainment industry novel and I get the rivalry but thereâs more to it than defame and scheming as an obstacle/plot. There shouldâve been an actual competition like someone who is a good as her at model..Iâm not hating, it great to read but Iâve read better and wanted to share my opinion.
