I think Aidan has a right to do what they want. In the end this novel was originally released on their platform. WW was just fan translation after all. You're right. But a lot of people are approaching this issue the wrong way, even Qidan itself. They should work out a compensation of sorts for the chapters translated then pick up from there if they are so adamant to translate their own novel. But its good to remember the person who first worked hard for it and give honor where its due

You guys do know that translations have their own copyright, however the original author has the right to allow/ reject the translation. Usually a translator will meet with the author and they will workout a royalty deal. The translated version do have a copyright.
