Don't blame the author for it , all xanxia and wuxia novels have extremely thick plot armour .

The MC can probably walk naked through fire without harm due to plot armor ;)

It's true. This is much worse than other novels, incredibly cliche, and the coincidences are dumb to an extreme. They are far too many and completely ruin my immersion.

what the guy says is true, there are so many dumb plots where nothing makes sense at all, the MC is stu.pid as hell, maybe they forgot to evolve their brain while trying to evolve their gene and also the world building is too small, this is the type of novel where everyone bumps into the same town every now and then.

It really just comes down to readers preference. Honestly, ive read worse novels but this one is a different kind of bad. It is sooo cliche and badly written that you go to the extreme and actually like it. Im torn.

Before you critize, at least read past chapter 10. The novel gets really god. So stop hosting and move on.

Correction: hating

This one at least has a story to it and has other interesting things going on. I like this LN because it is different than the others that sit in a cave and cultivate. Then go out cause issues and kill people and piss of those guy's grandady and then they run away and cultivate again and come out once they can kill that grandady and laugh at them while doing it. Then they go out and cause issues again and then hide to cultivate again and again and over and over and over.

It really is.

Read past chapter 21 before posting a review like this. It's not the best story in the world, no. But it's not as horrible as you make it out to be. The coincidence that you speak of with the golden beetle and the stone are almost there only ones. Not to mention that the stone he gets has VERY little impact to the story. It's barely mentioned after it's first introduced.

Gotta point out the plot armor here is literally armor 😁
