Honestly the best Chinese novel with unpredictable and well planned plot, and truly evil mc with a scheming brain. after i read this novel, all my previous fav novels look so bland, dumb and so many predicable plot now. i can't even read them anymore... this novel and the truly smart MC leveled my taste to whole new level!! Dear new readers, this book really worth to read! whole story truly planned so well by author. 'coincidence' not really 'coincidence' but clue or foreshadows for something really big in future chapter. All chars and mc are extremely smart, none of them are dumb just to make mc look better. Mc can schemes against others, others can do that too! in beginning chapters/volume, author focused on his POV or mindset, so focused on it even sometimes mc feel edgy at beginning lol xD but damn!! more story progress, we can see how ruthless mc towards others and himself. i used to read dark novels and gore but this mc still managed to stab my heart and twist it. then story continued to progress, we sometimes get uncomfortable with his cruelness, but we can see his hardworks, efforts, perseverance, and slowly make it from weak ant to big strong person. we readers witnessed his journey, respect and adore the MC after all hardship he must faced. truly worth to read! even tho personally i kinda find northern wars before eight eighty building kinda a drag, and zombie arc too kinda boring, but its truly a big twist and mindblowing plot after that. And damn, i love MC so much, the best mc ever! true villain without filtering the evil.
