Review Detail of Schoggi in Reverend Insanity

The world background and story development is original and interesting. But the novel's ideology and characters are very lacking. The author indirectly critisizes the chinese communist ideology and all its strict laws which prevent people from thinking outside the box. The mc does exactly that and he thinks that any kind of friendship or kinship is a lie and only a man's great ambition count. With this motto he justifies all evil the mc does of which some are truly disturbing and should be R18. There is no character development; the only change as he grows stronger are the ever more brutal/cruel crimes. The characters aren't really interesting and their only purpose is to be a stepping stome for the mc. I'd recommend this novel to sociopaths who like rationalizing wrongdoings, manipulative mcs, disturbing acts (Spoiler: There's a very detailed chapter of a the mc using a bear to eat a innocent little girl, one of the less disturbing evil acts)
