Yeah, the story was a great parody at start and I personally enjoyed how OP the MC is. But the mindset of the author changed fast to the current mess. He even basically took away the OP cheat for no reason.

I almost puked when he started to sacrifice himself for the sect. Like when did I stop being OP, when did I start caring for the sect which would have tortured me if I was weak, why did I betray myshamelessness for seriously pretending to be a holy gurdian. It was so damm bad

the story is not that bad, he turns back into a shameless man after chapter 140~ or so.

The sect protected him with their life. Pretty sure anyone would feel incline to rebuild the sect. But if u don’t like that it ok as after a few chapters, he goes back to being shameless and gets funny again

bruh. the sect didnt treat him like shet, the outer disciples did and mc repaid in kind.stealing their peaches its a done deal for me after all, as long as you're human, conflict cant be avoided. you arent pointing out how nice mc's seniors treated him tho. when the sect is at stake tho, everyone(excluding the traitors of course) is united in order to fight the same enemy and that's the beauty of it and most definitely the message the author wanted to portray. if you're drop the novel after the sect got destroyed, I can assure you, you're missing out a lot so its on you bruh

bruh, so much for having easy going judgement ,do you even read shadow hack bruh. it is impossible to please all people and it is understandable if it didn't suit your taste but this is one of the novels i read again and again and it is still interesting.

I read it a long time ago. But I remember he was gaining cultivation levels for getting beaten at the start. Like literally for every n punches taken he would power up.

The author didn't change anything tho. He kills = cultivation exp. He use skill = skill exp. Getting beaten was the same as using defensive skill apparently. It was like that until the end.
