In the genre "Games" - This novel is a rare gem. In my opinion it is the best. (read most of the games novels, but this one is special. You are free to have you own opinion - me too.) I do have to remark, that some of you might need to 'toughen it out' in the middle of the novel - I heard a few people dropped it. Why? Because of some routine (grinding) gaming in between. As a gamer myself, I did not notice it that much. - Maybe because my instincts told me, that hard work is necessary in every aspect. And heroes do not fall from the skies. The MC is a 'God', and his skills are OP - in game. Honestly, he is also just a normal human with his flaws. He did not get his skills by luck, but by hard work from the start of 'Glory' onwards, which is the name of the Game in the novel. The flaws and antics of the MC and all the other characters, is what makes the novel charming. It does not only focus on the MC, and you fall in love with (almost) every character that is part of this world, and want them to have more "time" in the novel. I can recommend it to anyone that is interested in game novels. But also for those who like shameless MC's and for some comedic relief. Tiny spoiler: The MC has to make his character work and use all his insane abilities to make his plans possible. There is no sudden one time" killing a monster for finding the most OP equipment in game" or "having a secret class that makes the best gear ever to make up for skills" *cough cough* Rather, it is portrayed that only somebody with experience and insight in every class and crafting can do what our "God MC" does. And of course a ton of shamelessness! this is the most important skill! ;)

wait did u said someone dropped it because it use routine on grinding ?:D are you serious?:D on the otherside i felt this novel didnt used same routines at all.....on most wbs the mc starts of finds enemy that is op....gets powerbuff beatthem and goes next...this is the single novel that it doesnt have this kind of bull****...tell your first then to read the brainless monster paraside where the only one with a bit of personality is the mc and everybraindead sh1t happends with no reason

yep. The reason why I mentioned it is because it was not only one person, but multiple that did that. (!) which made me wonder why they did it. *spoiler alert for those who dont want them* I suppose they meant the phase where nothing much happened besides leveling up Lord Grim and other characters while extorting rare materials from guilds. It was quite a while to figure out his greater plans etc. Not sure. They definitely didnt toughen it out until the later phases of glory :p

I've read a few reviews on novelupdates of people complaining and dropping this awesome novel too. Don't know what they are so dissatisfied about. Legendary Moonlight Sculpture, Zhan Long, Rebirth of Legendary Guardian... I've read these popular ones and the amount of grinding, level up, new skills, new weapons, new quests, etc were insane. Keeping up was a chore I finally gave up on. Compared to them TKA was minimal on information overload, only dungeoning and killing bosses was ever detailed. And Ye Xiu's daylight robbery XD.

So far I have only given up novels who somehow or anothNow that I think about it, I've even finished (or not given up yet) some of the mentioned novels above. I think with the way it goes nowadays with chinese novels, people expect dramatic encounters or developements with huge battles or sexy females seducing MC at every turn of the corner. TKA does not focus unrealistic things as much as some other novels mentioned, it also does not give the MC overpowered Items or Grand powers (besides his SUPER Shamelessness) neither does it develop the MC from noob to pro or from human to god. While other people focus on the MC, this novel is sometimes even more focussed on developing the side characters - because game wise, there is plenty more room for developement for those than our god. Its not like he does not develop - but its not his game skill that improves by leaps and bounds. There are some hardships, a situation, and a person who already has developed into a god during the past 10 years, and while he "falls" for some, the status quo and the situation overall is not as dramatisized as often portrayed in some other novels. While honestly, his situation is far from ideal as soon as the novel starts out, he is not the kind of MC who swears bitter revenge and trains for bringing down his "enemies" - he is much more calm and mature and while he is certainly pained by the situation, he does not dwell on it for too long and is mature enough to grab onto a 'fresh start' quickly. Okay enough rambling. Story is great - go read it xDs

... i think I wrote too much. xD anyway I've only given up "disgusting" stories, some way or another (psychological or too much r-pe gore etc.. )

but where does the "grinding" start, cant be that incredibly far in right, like 400 chapters later when he has that long period of time taken to leveling from 40 to 70

not talking about level grind in this game world, but the rare material grind.
