Dropping it if you like the story is a bit rash, it will eventually be free you only have to pay if you want it now. Also the author and the translator are not in charge of what QI sets as the SS price. I am not super happy at the cost but I also like the stories and think the people who are doing the translations should have some compensation since I cannot read Chinese.
