Kingslayer is its own universe. Nothing gets to it. Sadly still waiting on the (Real) third book lol.

If you are into the scholastic nostalgia of kingslayer chronicle. Try reading library of heavens path here, mc is just op though and approach is more comedic and more faceslapping. Also waiting for book3 too.

Are there novels similar to this? I mean the pacing and romantic sublot and yea no harem. Seriously this one is like a gem loitering in qidian and hopefully the author won't get lost and destroy the great developing plot

But it's just as bad when side characters go in the complete opposite direction too. Instead of a lack of any real importance, the flip side is an overindulgence on the authors part for including side characters in everything. I do like a "Main Character" in my stories so hopefully this isn't one of them.
