Review Detail of Daoist_Surritos in The Sacred Ruins

Great novel. Has a bit of a slow start up to help build the world and to set up the story (not bad if you appreciate slice of life pacing). Later through the story things start to get more exciting. To expand on this the beginning setting of the story takes place in modern era, there is electronics, tv, cars, cellphone, rockets, etc..... But strange things happen to the world and we see how it affects the main character chu feng and the world around him (this is where the xianxia,wuxia,fantasy,magic,watever etc begins to happen) That saying "there's an elephant in the room" is what i would summarize the quality of this translation. The translation quality is very ..... unlikeable, and I'am keeping this in relative with many other translated novels that i've read here on Qi and WWorld. At this point, i don't know if talking about this issue/problem will do any good since they are the only ones translating this novel but i do feel it needs to be addressed considering the potential of this novel could've been so much greater had the translation not been so ...... well anyways, check out the novel.
