Why is this rated so high? The story's only reading quality is its humor, the plot is simple and quite predictable, and everything relies heavily on shock factor. Characters doesn't even have common sense or manners... Heaven's Library can only be a hit in china because I can't see anyone with a modicum of taste spending time on this for fun.

It’s absolutely a hit in the US. Did you even read the book? It is in audio form on pocket fm and I. A tell you, it is one of the best books I have ever come upon. You seem like a hater when you said it “can only be a hit in China.” What is that supposed to mean?

I have read the book, and if you read the recent reviews you'd come to under stand this book was a banger... when it came out. The concepts are old, the characters are 2D and the entirely of the wn run on shock factor. Also I lived near china for 8 years I know the tv show and moves liked within the culture and wow factor is in all the best shows in China. On top of that if this web novel is the "best book ever read"/listened to you need to read more books. Finally stop projecting, Idk what's up with you but your words are full of passive aggressive angst.
