Fixing major faults may help them them be speedier but not as much as they show its not normal. The cultivation manuals he makes he needs 1-2 days at most more likely even faster takes no time...beating ppl up who are higher realm well thats no rly something to be amazed at its ok, he has superior zhenqi if he cant even do this then he would be a disappointment through and through.

Dude did you not read? Zhang xuan needed more spiritual energy from stones to advance due to his heavens path pure zhenqi. His students on the other hand do not require as much due to their not as pure zhenqi. Also, they have unique constitutions, or well, some of them do, so if they follow certain procedures they can increase their cultivation faster.

the part where you said about better the technique lesser the resources needed is false as Mc literally stated that he needed way more resources just to advance a small stage . while it's understandable that they are cultivating the simplified version of heavens path art but that doesn't make sense for them levelling up faster as Mc said the only reason why he was faster to cultivate was because he has the flawless techniques and the library of heavens path. while I can understand most of the time them leveling up is due to Mc guiding them but there are many parts where it doesn't make sense especially their battle powers as they have the same or better battle powers than Mc when the Mc literally superior to them in all aspect . and for some reason they don't even age.
