Review Detail of Slesk in Buffy: Self insert

I was interested in the premise but Author is clearly inexperienced and hasn't really put too much work on cleaning up his work before posting which leaves us to read some subpar stuff. Dude repeats himself almost every chapter early on and the character is very flat. His motivations are also weird, the Scoobies don't need help they got everything right on the show, if he is trying to avoid changing too much then it's just best he doesn't change anything. Anyways MC comes off a trying too hard to be mysterious and ends up being cringe. Also Buffy is nowhere as perceptive early on as he makes her. Well criticisms aside good on the author for trying, it's simply not for me, hope they get better.
