I really love how the story opens right off the bat with a cold-blooded mystery, it’s intriguing and feels like a good as any start compared to a few other books I’ve read in the genre. I also love the close friendship between Sam and Avaneshia, it’s so beautiful to see and I’m eagerly anticipating more!
