My god, this has to be the most uninteresting fanfic I’ve ever laid eyes on. Literally every chapter is just filled with internal monologus, trying to make the main character seem deep or something, and the story overall just takes way too long to get into the apocalypse aspect of things. I mean, I just skipped all of the way to the most recent chapter, which I believe is 28 or something around there, and I’m still not even sure if the author has written a single thing about the apocalypse yet. Overall, the author just has an insane talent at making everything he writes extremely monotonous and boring.

This is one of the saddest reviews I have ever read, According to your logic, you have to get to the best part straight away in the first 5 chapters? Sometimes it just takes a little time to create depth, but in the end the characters in this stories stand out from the boring ones of the kind of story that plunge into the apocalypse immediately after a few chapters, and the best part gets completly ignored - how it beginns Of course there are chapters that are unnecessary, but in the end they are all somehow important in building up tension and explaining his personality... One Piece also has hundreds of unnecessary filler episodes, and it's still a good series... Just because you have little patience doesn't mean others don't have it...
I read up to 17 chapters not 5 homie. And if your story isn’t interesting 17 chapters in, that’s obviously going to lower the readers opinion on it:

Also, One piece has filler episodes because they’re filler. Not canon. A fanfic shoildn’t exactly be filled with filler homie
