so is the protagonist evil or like anti- hero. I started hating evil protagonist so I need to know before starting.

anti hero means a person with a good goal but he achives it in bad ways like crime, the mc isnt an anti hero from what I have seen, his action are more towards good, tho I paused reading at c10

clearly in the author's previous novel the mc was acting like a simple for 6 chapters and became absolute evil with cult like mentality, so I dropped it. I just wanted a confirmation if the mc would be readable.
