Agreed. Chinese novels aren't bad when they're well translated by a human. Otherwise, the machine translated ones remind you that the MC is a Chinese or yellow skinned. Doesn't matter which dimension, country or planet the story is set in, they def need to mention their cuisine, culture and the word 'dragon nation/country'. If these annoying cliches are removed they're not bad at all.
