The whole concept is amazing, and considering I’ve always wanted to read a novel where the mc has both dragon and shadow monarch powers, this was a dream come through. But the author made it their mission to nerf the heck out of the mc. Even going as far as to make his shadow soldiers a lot weaker then when they were alive. If you are a reader that don’t like nerfing, don’t read this or you are going to get very angry just like I am.

Im not saying don’t give him any powers, just not overpowered ones. This happens all the time, authors stuff cool powers down the protagonist only to later start nerfing them when they are too strong for the story to continue, either adapt the story of moderate the powers from the beginning. No story really survives when the author needs to start nerfing the mc

yeah i hate when stupid authors do that. just give them powers with immense potential but Nerf them stupidly. i mean why can't any author think beyond the verse 😔 like multiverse travel through gates and all. they just like to stick to their own low level pathetic verses
