it's slow paced , yeah mc is immature, dumb , idiot , always freaking out ,yeah from the get go situation is always out of his control , he can't use his power and connections wisely, he is naive ,soft hearted but that's what fate stored for him and it is more difficult to break free from that shackles which seems easy to read but not so dear readers if you are expecting him be cruel , decisive from the get go then no , THIS NOVEL FOCUSES ON CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT and yeah he is changing not by large margin but bit by bit "situations" are molding him to become like we wished him to be , we are seeing his failures and then what he is learning from them making constant correction 1st arc is of total MISTAKE AND CORRECTION AND DEVELOPMENT which is very fresh for a novel for this genre and plus author promised so please give a go by mindset and IT WILL NOT DISAPPOINT YOU P.S = Author I don't want Olivia to ever be sad again from his immature act 😤
