that is why the warning for chapter one is there. the whole story wont be like that🤦♂️ some people havent seen the show in a long time it dont mind the quick intro

Author, I understand your point, but the issue here is that people who read fanfics already know about the original story. I also found the first chapter a little unnecessary, but it is very important as it demonstrates how the story will be told, not focusing completely on the protagonist's vision. So in the end, it ends up being a good start to the story, even though there are multiple people saying that the protagonist is an "NPC" in the narrative.
