Great novel I like it a lot my only issue is that he uses lightning. But that’s just me personally bc I think it’s overused and there are other elements that are not shown enough like water or earth.

I think he gained a weapon that gave him shadow affinity.

I think my only real problem with lighting is that it’s not really a element you can get creative with as most of the time people use it for speed enhancements or shoot bolt of lighting at the enemy. I just think you could use water or earth better in most environments.
