i think you misunderstood 3 as in person or i maybe misunderstood that 3 person are considered love triangle

when a person has 3 lovers excluding themselves its a harem(1 guy, and 3 woman), but when a person has 2 lovers its just normal Polyamory(1 guy, 2 woman). A love triangle is when 2 people compete for the love of one person who loves both of the people fighting them. Its not the same thing.
