Translation is awful. Text isn't properly separated into paragraphs, characters' names are changed into English ones despite it being Chinese novel, ML has already had three different names. Since translator can't remember to what name s/he changed it to then better to just leave them like in original.Novel for now seems to have usual to C-novels one dimensional characters.

Before WN launched, I edited a fan translation of this book. It's 总统先生的无拘无束的爱 aka Mr President's Unbridled Love. The translator's version and my edits/proofreading were on NovelUpdatesdotcom until a few months ago.This translation is a bit of a disaster. I think it might be a machine translation because it's not picking up on the fact that the same Chinese words have different meanings based on the tone and accent marks. For example, Qīng xīn means fresh and clean but qīng xìn means to easily trust, gullible or naïve. Google translate uses the letters only, not the symbols above the letters. This results in gibberish sentences where translation apps pick a meaning based on the rest of the sentence. Machine translation is defining his name instead of recognising it as a name. ML's name is being translated as cold flute, sky above clouds, boiling, moving forward through obstacles and more. Imagine there's a FL named Heather. Whatever translation app used here would enter the name Heather as flower, perennial, or scent. It's defining names instead of recognising them as people's names. I'll look for the raw link later and upload it if I can find it in my emails from the fan translator. I was glad when the translator dropped it to finish nursing school. The ML is a jerk. He buys LASIK eye surgery, a bunch of clothes, the usual - and then he walks on her like everyone else while gaslighting her. Read something else or check novelupdatesdotcom for free translations for better books in this genre.
