Review Detail of Bibliophillic in AlterEden

Man, I don't know what the heck is going on in this story. We're dropped into a scene with some kind of thief that is never brought up again, then we spend two chapters discussing this kid in his smithing shop and there's magic circles, and fancy retro-futurist prosthetics, before we transition to some vignette about a black tentacle getting mail-bombed. I don't know who the main characters are, I don't understand the narrative point of this story, and I have to wait an entire week before I get any answers. Why would I ever add this mess to my personal library? You lack focus, and you're taking way too long to write for the level of quality present. I'm not interested in this world, and I'm not interested in its occupants. Try again.
