Posting the review at chapter 189. There are obviously minute spoilers mixed in below, so read at your own risk. World Building: Superb, the component of the story that I love the most. From the lore to power system to mysterious nature of the world to the outer world to the surface to the tribes to the history. Every-damn-thing. I love it. There are no info dumps (tho I'm immune to them, courtesy of The Legendary Mechanic) Though I'm eager to understand more about the world, hopefully Inala roams the world more, what lies beyond Sumatra continent? What are the deep seas like? Could there be Clansmen living inside oceans, merfolk perhaps? Inside Volcanos? Power System: There's no doubt power system holds solid second place in my heart about the story, even in that segment, the Natures. Something inherent to a creature, significant to its existence, Primary, Secondary, Tertiary. Not too much, not too little. With there being multiple ways to gain them, experiment! Then the division of human populace, Free, Ravaged, Clansmen. My personal favourite are ofcourse clansmen (only when I'm the one having them as my immune system, I don't want any brainwashing). But I feel like Free humans are being shown way below their potential, they have the potential to match the clansmen, but I also feel there are a couple holes here, for one, they form their bodies with inanimate objects, which inherently has no lifeforce, so they shouldn't possibly have increased lifespan, at all (it's a different matter altogether it you say that each life of Life Stage adds the maximum amount of a human's lifespan to the remaining, which wud be absurd) and also theSpirit, Body, Life, Transcendence. There's not much to say about that, typical cultivation jagron, tho I was hopeful of the Transcendent stage being a representation of a concept, making the person virtually immortal (not unkillable, just not killable by aging). The ranks, Iron, Silver, Gold, Mystic. Now that's the interesting bit, Iron Silver are nothing to write home about, but Gold, oh Gold, is great, but that's it. Mystic is super grand great, and apparently every continent has one race blessed by it, hence every continent has atleast one blessed race at all times, the continents are "aware", hence sentient to an extent (reminds me of Lore and Telltale combo governing the Dream World). And to turn Mystic, you need to fulfil requirements, makes sense, and the intermingling prefix of Empyrean, I suppose attaining that status at Gold rank evolution is a prerequisite for Mystic? (Tho I doubt)Story: Again, excellent. Plot twists after plot twists, nice. There were a couple points where I felt uncomfortable, for example, Gannala flashback arc felt forced, and rushed (tho I understand many would have dropped if it wasn't rushed). Story: What I liked the most in the story is that the world moves on regardless of whatever anyone is doing, no one is important (not important enuf, not yet) and then there are the remaining 4 "Fortutous Encounters" remaining (I suppose Attribute has already been claimed at the latest point of the story) Plus I still think the end boss is Renduldu. Character development: Obviously great. There is enuf material to go around that psychology can be used to understand each one's thought process, plus it's great that you can make me hate (Oyo, Virala, etc) or root for a character (Inala, Grehha, Orakha, etc)
