Exactly! It gets on my nerves. I couldn’t bear to read it after the first paragraphs as the English names were to off-putting. Totally ruined a good novel.

The way the Chinese and Americans respond and react are different. The cultural and geographical and physical differences do exist. And even if not, still reading English names in these stories is a huge put off.
