haaa how should I start. Well to be honest, this novel, at the start, came out strong and interesting. The whole concept of a necromancer and druid fusion was interesting and the application of abilities of both classes was decent. But as all good things do, the decency of the novel fell flat, especially when the second arc starts.Let's talk firstly about our dear old MC, Matthew. One word, cardboard cutout. Theres's really no emotion that can be perceived from the MC, he has no hobbies other than planting, he has no clear goals, morals, and anything. He is literally just a cardboard cutout, his character is simple and crude. We can simply describe him as: he loves trees, he dislikes romance, and that's basically all his major points. Compared to other MCs, he frequently doesn't ponder over things, his reactions are mundane and all in all boring. Now let's move on with his transmigration, it is revealed that he's far from the first transmigrator and that hes'slike the 120th? Other than that his cheat is pretty good but not totally overpowered, which I really like. It's not some deus ex machina where he can rise from weakest to strongest in a matter of a year, but rather acts as a support to easen his growth and provide a path for him to take.Following that is the world-building. Oh boy this is a shit storm. Let me begin by saying that his world is an absolute fuckery. We have other continents, other planes, other worlds, and more. The big problem is that the world is so abnormally large that any cohesive understanding cannot be made especially since the author gives details on a chaotic manner. Oh there's a continent other then Aindor? Cool. Oh wait so you're telling me that there's also other worlds and a dead galactic empire? Ok. Oh wait there are also domains and dimensions meant for races? Like the arcane wilderness? But there's also a real for the undead? Then a realm made by gods? Then a continent for the Su (Chinese equivalent). Holy shit there's a ton and not one was properly explained EVEN AINDOR CONTINENT, THE CONTINENT WHERE HE'S STAYING. It's such a weird fucked up shit of a world that if properly explained, can actually clear many things and set up a better world building.World History, imo I really like the 3 locks that Matthew introduced. The story of the scourged mage was also decent and I know that the further we progress, the better we can understand. Now let's talk about the second arc, the arc where he tries to find the Su inheritance of balance or some shit. Goddamn this arc was tedious, it made me quit for several times since it directed the story out of the trees and unbearable characters are introduced, especially that bard Lorraine.anyways read at your own risk.
