Okay...let's begin, shall we? First of all, it reminds me of 'A Scarlet Letter' by Nathaniel Hawthorne. I loved the book to the letter. It was from the mid-17th century. I saw a reflection of that classical era in this writing. If you are a fan of descriptive narrative style, this book will blow your mind. I envy the writer as a fellow writer.. :D I am jealous. However, use of the old school realism will slow the pace at which your story develops. I don't mind slow development, but you may lose some potential readers. We won't want that to happen. The writer shows an excellent ability to describe the world as the character sees it. If you are okay with slow story buildup, you should not miss this. This is an excellent work of art.
