idk why all of the people who wrote naruto fanfics always blame the third hokage and danzo. i also don't like them, but the authors always blamed them for no reason, or they just found speculations in the web that those two eradicated the senju clan. in fact, aside from the members who died in the war, the senju clan integrated with konoha, throwing away the "clan" that supposed to be an obstacle for konoha unity after tsunade's birth. but, it wasn't easy even after they integrated with konoha. no, rather, hashirama failed. you know, even tsunade didn't have a surename. it was because the senju clan integrated with konoha. if you dont believe me, try to read the manga where orochimaru revived the first to fourth hokages and met sasuke who asked them questions regarding konoha.

It's not official but it's kinda head canon. But if senju were alive why didn't they give a reaction when uzumaki or uchiha were killed? when Tsunade became hokage still not a single senju popped up why?
