What attracted me to this story was the fact that MC is the son of the mixed-race mediv and all the things that come with that, but then in the middle of the story he basically stops being that character to be what the author wanted him to be, change the race from mc the name the class everything is basically a character from another world in wow it is simply disappointing and wrong of the author to present a character and then change it completely in the middle of the story I felt cheated

Sad to hear that, yes, his character was changed in the middle of the story in order for me to write something that differs from the original plot, that being said it is also my first fic, if you were/are willing to continue reading to see the entire fic for what it is later on I'd hope that opinion would change. -- Regardless that his identity changes into what it is, he still remains with exactly the same identity, but of course he will not stay the same person when there are two souls intertwined into him, changing him on a fundamental level, and by the end of Volume 3, there will be a reasonable explanation of this. - The reason I also presented his character early on was to give off the proper impression on who he was, and could eventually become later in the story -(Before chapter 15 I had only a slight vision on how I wanted to write this story...) Thanks for the review, but I think it's wrong to judge the fic because of the identity of the main character if you have not caught up to recent chapters, but that is only my opinion and I respect yours.

The problem is that you introduce a character and in the middle of the story you completely change him, it's not a change in personality or in opinions, it's a radical change that he's not even an orc/draenei/human, he's basically a 2 meter tall human. height now besides not being a shaman anymore, something that should change the title of the fanfic because it doesn't fit anymore

it's the same thing as me reading a story about the thrall and in the middle of it he turns into a human like it's bad it's sad if you wanted to make a character from scratch create one from scratch without using the medan character and basically discarding him in the middle of the story history

-If it is that important for you, then all I can do is tell you that it's too bad that you put so much focus on that fact and move on, writers like me who want to learn the whole author debacle can't write only what the reader wants, it's a process, and unfortunatly in this case we disagree. -Sadly you can't please everyone, especially so when a reader zeroes down on 1 particular thing they do not like and makes it their whole argument of how a fanfiction should have been different. -I have realized many mistakes since I started writing this fanfic, and identity never proved to be one of them, as the MC still is the Med'an of the warcraft universe. -I do not see the underlying problem of changing his base character with growth and change, especially so when the character if left alone and completely original would have made for a bad story, very boring even, as his character is overpowered beyond belief, and put together the way he is... I would have started writing something I all around did not like, and saw no reason to go this route after deciding where I wanted the fic to head towards. -I still respect your point of view, but you seem to actively avoid mine. -Thanks for telling me your reasoning though, I'll try to adhere to your view if I encounter something similar as this situation again, but not to the point I'm willing to change my own story for the benefit of 1 reader.

If that's your perceived outlook of the current MC then I am not sure you have caught up to recent chapters, he's not even remotely close to a human, except maybe for the face? But yea, I do understand what you mean, but what do you want me to do? Change the entire fic for the sake of appealing to your opinions? Or do as I currently am, finishing the fanfic THEN rewriting the first 20 chapters in order to make the rest fit the story? -All that aside, I would probably have had the same reaction as you toward the change if it was me half a year ago, but now I have been testing out how to write and experimenting with how to build a story. -And I can safely say that the problem is not really a problem, he has NEVER changed completely, his mind is almost exactly the same, Character growth is constant. -If all people would care for was his looks... then I'd end up making him into some kind of murloc with an abominable swimmer's physique, because what this honestly is all about, are the views on what you want, I knew I did a mistake, or rather quite a lot of them, but I built on it and here we are. -I still appriciate the fact you are taking the time to write all this, even if I may not take the opinion with full validity due to the fact it's zeroed in on the MC's so-called changes and not the world around him. I'll gladly admit that yepp, I screwed up when making the character, but back then it was a good idea :)
