At first when I checked the synopsis I thought that this was basically a Harry Potter romantic comedy. But i deeply regret even reading the first chapter. The very idea of crippling a baby fills me with fury, even more so when it's done out of supposed love.

People don’t seem to inderstand what Elyon can cook when he writes most of his mcs all have tragic pasts at the start but learn and evolve past them. If every book started with the same happy go lucky family and no drama then it’s not your cup of tea and go read some other fluffy novels. Tradgedy builds character and gives motivation. Elyon is one of the best authors I know that can actively evoke sadness and anger and relief from his audience. Even if his books are filled with heart wrenching moments it ends in a positive light. Also let’s be real most of the books on here aren’t half as good as Elyon’s “worst” books .
