Review Detail of Lyk_novel in The Path of Destruction

my first tip is: don't be put off by the longer opening chapter. the reading is smooth and the world presented has many interesting details. I'm not particularly fond of books in 1st pov, but for now (I've only read the first two chapters) the author is handling it well. Given the slow pace, however, I would have preferred a more detailed construction of the village and its family, perhaps dedicating the entire first chapter to it. Overall an interesting read, I will definitely continue to follow the story hoping it stays on these levels.
