Not my cup of tea if I'm honest.. a pretty classic isekai type premise but he doesn't care about magic and just eats food while making things slightly easier for the golden trio. the author says in other comments that there are "huge conflicts" but I didn't see any of them and I'm up to date. I mean unless you call the random things he throws in conflict. for example but not limited to Neville trying to use crucio at his sorting ceremony (before he casts Lumos), when he couldn't even muster up that sort of rage against Bellatrix later in the books. its just nonsense drama the author made up not real engaging conflict. its a slice of life novel, no need to advertise it as something else.

It's weird some complain that there isn't slice of life and MC has too much conflicts. While someone says there's no conflicts. It's impossible to satisfy all. Btw, the conflict I talked about was mainly about his blood. And a few other consequences. But yes, at large this is a Slice of life fic as my most others.

what turned me off the most about this novel was the fact that the mc swallowed and absorbed the philosophers stone and yet he was still weak as frick..no logical or "because I said so" by the author can justify how the mc doesn't have a God like amount of mana and spells being overly strong amongst other things
