Ok so first of all this mc is naive, if anyone lives for some time with him he gets very attached to them, he gets betrayed by his maid Sol, he then goes mad when two potential cock sleeves die cause he hesitated to disclose his secret and strength thus in anger he goes and challenges the sect to which killer belonged and taunts for open challenge and kills all 4th level cultivators and gets more eyes and scrutiny upon himself, I'd say rather retarted but the stupid author saves him with plot armorthis novel is a bit stupid, not as ruthless as usual chinese cultivation novels, the author is using something very Immortal cultivation power system like in chinese novels but here its a lot flimsy like a normal nascent soul cultivator can uproot a city with one attack but no such power is defined in this novel, the action is just about movement, techniques and honestly doesn't feels very strong.Character of mc has been quite a mess cause he behaves like a grown up, scheming man but naive at the same timethe novel also has some plus like he likes to be secretive and doesn't minds using unorthodox means to achieve his goal, I wouldn't call mc evil, he's just unorthodox nothing more then that
