It was a long time ago I read this book so don't quite remember, but IIRC it's mostly slice of life but later on around 1000+ above, there will be magic and the like, MC also got the ability to travel to other worlds. It's kinda like akikan's story but on the bigger scale

thanks for clarifying. after seeing Japan name written as Chinese and china becoming strongest nation on earth I thought they conquered it.

The nationalism things is only on first chapter where author make huaxia/china became the strongest country and japan's name became penglai. And that's it, they were never mentioned again after that, just ignore the names. The story itself is good and enjoyable for me, good thing the translator change MC's chinese name to japanese.

i know i said i like slice of life stories and those that take their time to increase the quality of their work but, 1,000 + chapters seriously?! like dude 4 months ago i left this novel thinking that nothing is going to happen ever, only to find this haha now i don't know if i should be happy or sad, happy cause something happens sad cause that's 800 or so chapters away. alright i'll give the novel a second chance and hope for no more annoying cat content, thanks for the information by the way
