I have read 20 chapters and this novel is good. The FL is strong but her opponents are from both her adopted family and ML family. Ml helps her and protects her. He is not a forceful type but he has his reason for this contract marriage. Overall, you can give it a try.

were we reading the same novel..... Help her... Damn thats like saying the thug that stab and injured his victim is helping them alleviate the stress of carrying their personal belongings. Wow some of the comments and reviews in these novels makes me reevaluate whether our brains are progressing with evolution or digressing... if I am not wrong he has choked her 3 times and forced himself on her 2 times did not complete the assault but at this point it wouldn't surprise me. Bet it get disguised as he was drugged or drunk so the gullible can say awww it was just a mistake.
