I haven't read this yet, but aside from Slytherin, every house have no heirs yet they still exist as a founding member of Hogwarts. I just don't get why remove Galegold House in the first place.

yeah the reason behind that is because of direct translations from Spanish to English which butchers the meaning a lot, in Spanish pretty much every word and in specific situations in a sentence either masculine or feminine will be used which in English would translate to he/him and she/her switching a lot
