It definitely has potential, however, the author needs to work a lot on both his english, vocabulary, and building a more consistent type of writing. As it is right now, it's mostly bland dialogue with no emotion to back it up, it's all up to the viewer to guess what the characters are feeling when they are talking. I have noticed in his later chapters he's been getting a bit better, but there's still room for improvement.
