It wa great untill he went to gothem then the author flipped the story over and completely changed how the MC was ruining what he set up in the beginning

I'm at ch 48, MC/Author says MC is smart. But He is book smart, not people smart. His power is nerfed and takes far too long to develop. The number of paragraphs with boring monologues is endless. Either the author thinks people are dumb to understand things so he has to detail with monologues or people are dumb. Then those who don't need too much explanation on things get bored rather easy. I'm still reading in hope things get better or rewritten.
