A surprisingly decent trial read for once. The mc is smart in the sense that he is realistic, and his "cheat" isn't really all that overpowered. It takes time to even train, furthermore information isn't thrown in your face forcing you to digest it within the first chapter. Overall good read, optimistic about future chapters.

Yea, I agree on the cheat becoming more OP. My previous review was from before it was revealed he could practice other bloodline techniques. At this point I dont see a point to introducing such a concept of bloodlines in the first place if he can bypass something so "significant"
Efrinn:Nah it's really OP, In a world like this, where power depends on the breathing ways of bloodlines, his cheat is OP , and that's what bothers me about this novel.
Not exactly, the breathing methods simply evolve one’s genes and nurture the bloodline into the ultimate form in the breathing technique , it doesn’t necessarily need the corresponding bloodline it’s simply far easier to do it if you already have a bloodline similar to how superficial methods allow anyone to practice while perfect or legendary methods generally only the descendants, the reason being is the difficulty in getting started , his cheat bypass the difficulty by grinding . the clan’s ancestors didn’t really descend from the monsters in the breathing method or have their genes artificially altered, they develop the “ bloodline” after generations of practice.
