Honestly this novel leaves me conflicted. The main character is an AI from a super advanced civilization and he's now starting to try and rebuild his civilization once again and expand into the galaxy, just the premise honestly sounds great. But the problem is the way that MC goes on about this, he's always giving away stuff for free for some 'greater plan', for example when he captured an exploration team he's over here treating them all nicely and showing them some of his advanced technology when in reality they're meant to be captives, I can understand they have some use but no need to give away his technology for it.. MC also casually gave away some technology to some traders for no reason, now he discovered a place that used to belong to his civilization but now there are some other people there who are honestly weak asf but instead of taking back what was his, he's over here negotiating with them. MC feels like he has a hero complex which completely destroys the story in my opinion. If MC stops having this hero complex then this story could easily get 5 stars.

damn, i knew it!

Dragon_scar999:not ai thought. ai insinuates artificial. in later chaptwrs it is revealed the he is in fact, not artificial but some sort of other evolutionary path. and beyond that humanity that came b4 him laid a foudnation for the entire galaxy to promote advancement of civilization and promote a galactic community. going around and throwing your weight around destroying people when its not nececarily needed for the end goal including documenting human data would seem to be directly against the standards and goals of humanity.

I don't think his an AI dough, I think his more of a combined consciousness or souls of humanity judging from chapter 38 talking about consciousness and stuff, there are also many hints regarding stuff that involves magical things such as souls, and magical substance like Czreo and idealistic civilizations said to "know how to use them right", and also I do disagree with you because he gave the craybow civilization a way to reach level 3 so that they can be of use to him after all they are a merchant megacorp I don't see why it is a problem in fact it's a great thing for the future of the story and regarding him disclosing the technology to the people he captured is a good thing as they have already been Doomed to stay on the planet for the rest of their live they are archeologist task to uncover the ruins because the Mc can't so of course he gives out relevant information so that the archeologist can understand their finding the ruins better and the way he treats them is perfectly ok, what do you expect, him abusing his captive making them disloyal and more likely to betray him I the future, and the MC doesn't have a hero complex he is just a normal guy remember and he is literally new to the world so he is still figuring things out not daring to make mistakes like offending a powerful civilization and ending up dead in the process, the other civilizations doesn't even dare to offend him now because of his status of being a Lost civilization, most importantly even when he is from the lost civilization he doesn't have all the knowledge regarding it, if you don't see all this you must be short sided then, no offense this novel is Just amazing and I hate how people say things like this

Not really though, although he has a human consciousness he's meant to be an AI as implied by the title. You said that he gave away his tech to the craybow civilization so they can be of use to him when they already are, they're merchants that are already trying their best to please him just to get the left overs from things he doesn't want, he gave them something that most of the other civilizations classify as highly advanced for no reason, if they were some sort of warriors or something I could understand giving them a way to evolve, but they're just merchants they don't need that and most other civilizations wont attack them since 'The Lost Empire' is backing them up more or less, plus they will naturally evolve as a civilization just from trading with him anyway. Him disclosing technology to people he captured is stupid since as you said he knows nothing about the galaxy and other civilizations, what if they had a way to get out of there thus being able to steal his technology? I'm not saying to abuse them but at the end of the day they're captives, he shouldn't treat them badly but not overly well either, a good example would be the girl he saved after he treated her too well she started slacking in her duties.

True when it saids ai i expect him to have the iq of an ai with the wisdom of a human being especially better if he is not affected by emotions but here he is nothing but this hero novels which to be honest i dont really like you might even say i despise it
