Hello, It's the editor here. I am here just to reiterate that this isn't my novel. I'm just editing and translating this form its RAW. I'm doing this because I enjoyed the original story but got fed up with how bad the grammar was. I'm doing this for fun so please don't hate on me.

LIKEChinese novels and fanfics are rubbish, so if you want to make a translation of that rubbish, you have to write a fanfic of that Chinese fanfic. The novel is written in English and is aimed at a non-Asian audience. Don't make the mistake of using Chinese words, Chinese names, Chinese references, Chinese behaviour, Chinese ideology, Chinese politics; That's because those who read a novel in ENGLISH are not all Asian.
I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what point you are trying get across. Can you explain it clearly so that I can understand what you are trying to say?

Choosing a Chinese novel (mtl) and you just want to translate it is a waste of time. It is best to use that Chinese novel as a reference and write a new novel, for example the author "akikan" does that and has millions of readers.

So instead of just translating, I should use the story as a framework and write it out how I would write it???

1.- You have to write the novel in American English because it is the most widely used civilized language, then there is Spanish. Do not use Asian words, Asian names, and Asian references. 2.- Plan who your readers will be, and adapt the reading context to the target audience. That is, the readers of your novel written in English are not Asian, except for a few but the vast majority are people from the continent of America, Europe (including Russia), Oceania... So try to use international language, phrases and references that an American understands and an Argentine or Portuguese can also understand. 3.- Don't write about the psychopathic behavior of Asian characters, don't use Chinese nationalism or the ideology of "good China and the rest are capitalist pigs" as a reference. I suggest seeing author akikan's stories for a reference. I know it's hard to write a story from scratch, so the idea of using a Chinese story as a reference is good but it should be adapted for a non-Asian audience.

However your work is not bad. I think you have a talent for writing, you just have to take into consideration the readers and how to increase the number of visits to your work. Remember, those who read fanfic want to identify with the protagonist. Readers may abandon the novel if the protagonist behaves too inconsistently... did you know that Hollywood movies are not allowed in China?

Thank you for your advice. I have a quick question. Should I rewrite my backlog or start after I've completed my latest chapter?

Get on with your work. But for a new novel consider the little tips... You can write one-chapter novels to experiment. Just like TV series that have a pilot episode, you can make a pilot novel.
