I'm giving the story one star, not because it deserves it, but because I've seen way too many mindless five-star ratings, so this is for balance. If I were to give an honest opinion, I would give the story about three stars. The progression of power that the main character gets is way too fast, so it doesn't feel earned or satisfying. This becomes even more broken when the main character obtains an ability that lets him steal all the powers and skills of someone who he is fighting. At this point, his growth isn't something that people can look forward to. Why would they? He barely has to put in any effort. Especially since it can be used 4x a day. This problem is a rookie mistake. In addition, there are some aspects of the story that really don't make sense. Like the Great Sage ability which is given an A rating, and yet it is somehow able to replicate something with an SSS ranking. Literally makes zero sense. Another downside is that the story explains way too much about the background and game details. I can understand trying to help others who haven't read the original story, but this just drags out the process and makes it more tiresome for those who actually have. Y'know, the story's MAIN audience?

So you are willing to give a fanfic 5* if it have very brain less and bad plot with multiple 1* reviews just because it has some ‘brainless’ 1* reviews? Seems legit. Grow up lil bro. Reviews like this makes writers lose motivation. You can’t even write 5 chapters and you are crying over a very good fanfic.
I've actually written over 60 chapters of story, thanks. Rather amusing that you'd try and call me out for my lack of effort in writing when you yourself didn't bother to put in any effort into your response. :) Also, the author has DOZENS of 4 and 5-star reviews praising them. I doubt a negative review would actually demotivate them to stop writing, but if it did, then they'd need to grow much thicker skin.

Honestly, I wouldn't really call a 3-star story "good". To answer you though, I might think they're a bit weird, but this is the internet, so it's not exactly new. However, I can't help but notice you didn't say a single word against the critiques in my review.

I didn’t say anything because after reading through your reviews, I don’t think I could judge anyone’s opinion. I messaged first of all because you wrote that this review is influenced by lot of ‘dumb’ 5* reviews. I like this story, even when I don’t like OP character. Why? Because even when MC is OP, there are entities out there who are stronger than MC. I want plot; I don’t want slice of life. As for his ability, it’s OP, but imo it’s also entertaining; so I didn’t mind it. Since you didn’t like it; I didn’t criticize your ‘opinion’. I messaged because instead of writing an honest review, upu gave it 1* because and ONLY because it have many 5* ‘dumb’ reviews.
